While fossil fuels and laissez-faire capitalism drove post-WWII economic growth, their resulting CO2 emissions now threaten our existence. We must rapidly transition from fossil fuels to alternative energy, as current capitalism won't solve this crisis.

Despite having the technology, we lack the collective will and discipline to change embedded behaviors and systems. This requires fundamental shifts in our "human software" and "hardware."
